Two teenagers charged over stabbing of London schoolboy, 15

Kieron Carew-Donaldson, 18, of Brixton, and Darius Kwakye, 18, of Camberwell, both of south London, face one count of murder and two counts of robbery.

Police said they are due to appear at Sutton Magistrates’ court on Monday morning.

13 demonstrators killed as they try to cross borders into Israel

JERUSALEM—Israeli soldiers opened fire on demonstrators attempting to cross the border into Israel from Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip on Sunday, as unprecedented protests erupted across the region on the anniversary of the creation of Israel, which Palestinians call the Nakba, or “catastrophe.”

At least 13 people were killed, but it was unclear whether Israel was responsible for all the deaths or whether the Lebanese army also bore responsibility.

The day of coordinated demonstrations drew thousands into the streets of Gaza and the West Bank, to Syria’s and Lebanon’s borders with Israel and into Cairo’s Tahrir Square. It marked one of the most dramatic escalations of violence in the Israel-Palestinian conflict in years and the most deadly flare-up along the Syrian border since 1974.
